This 1/12-scale articulated vinyl BJD blind box series uses a vinyl character body, precision ABS/POM joint structures, miniature fabric clothing and multi-color facial printing. The nude body measures 12.9 cm, with the completed figure approximately 15 cm. The series includes 6 regular styles, 1 small hidden style and 1 large hidden style. Production focused on joint tension, garment fit, print registration, part completeness and disassembled packing for a 5,000-unit production run.

Finished Sample Review
The pre-production sample was checked for joint tension, facial print alignment, miniature garment fit, part completeness, assembly tolerance and dressing clearance. The 12.9 cm nude body dimensions were also checked against the approved 1/12-scale structure before the blind box series moved to production.

Pre-Production Checks
Before mass production, the team reviewed joint tension consistency, facial print registration, garment fit, part completeness, dressing clearance, blind-box style sorting and the fit of disassembled components inside the plastic blister tray. These checks were used to keep the 5,000-unit run consistent across the regular and hidden styles.

Joint Molding & Engineering
Precision molds were developed for the ABS/POM skeletal joint system to maintain stable joint tension, durability and smooth articulation through repeated movement.
Facial Printing & Paint Finishing
Multi-color pad printing was used to control facial feature registration and maintain consistent color and detail across the production batch.
Miniature Garment Production
Miniature fabric garments were cut, sewn and fitted to the 1/12-scale body with attention to seam accuracy, proportion and movement clearance.
Blind Box Sorting & Disassembled Packing
Figure components and miniature clothing were sorted by style, checked for completeness and placed disassembled in plastic blister trays inside the blind box. The customer completes final figure assembly and dressing after opening. Packing control covered the 6 regular styles, 1 small hidden style and 1 large hidden style without publishing any hidden-style ratio.
