Silicone Whale Tap Night Light Manufacturing Case
We supported the production sampling and batch manufacturing of this silicone whale tap night light, including silicone lampshade molding, cartoon whale shape mold development, built-in battery structure assembly, slide switch installation, tap-to-change-color function testing, warm light and seven-color lighting confirmation, appearance inspection, and packing support. The project focused on controlling the soft-touch feel, even light diffusion, electronic component stability, and overall lamp assembly safety to meet production requirements for bedside use, children’s sleep companion products, and export gift orders.

This project required stable silicone lampshade molding capability, electronic lamp structure assembly, lighting function testing, appearance and specification inspection, soft silicone and electronic part integration control, and packing capability for export night light orders.
Mold Development
The silicone lampshade mold was developed based on the approved whale shape, with control over rounded contours, lampshade thickness, tap feel, bottom assembly position, and consistency of the light-diffusing areas.
Silicone Compression Molding
Soft silicone was processed through lampshade molding production, with control over material flow, molding temperature, surface cleanliness, hardness, and batch appearance consistency to ensure stable touch feel and light diffusion.
Electronic Component Assembly
The built-in battery, light source, circuit board, and slide switch were assembled into the structure, with checks on installation position, connection stability, switch feel, and overall lamp safety.
Lighting Function Testing
The warm light and seven-color versions were tested for lighting effect, color-change response, tap sensitivity, timer-off function, and long-term operating stability.
Appearance and Specification Inspection
During production, the whale shape proportion, surface marks, silicone flash, lampshade light uniformity, product weight, and 3V light source configuration were inspected to maintain stable batch quality.
