Custom Silicone Toy Manufacturing Process
From design and application review to sample development, mold making, molding, vulcanization, surface finishing, inspection and packaging, we manage each stage around the approved product requirements. Intended use, age grade, Shore hardness, wall thickness, parting lines, flash, tear-prone areas and functional performance are reviewed before mass production.

Design and Application Review
We review intended use, age grade, dimensions, wall thickness, Shore hardness, parting lines, undercuts, inserts and assembly requirements before sampling.
Silicone Sample Development
A physical sample confirms shape, hardness, flexibility, grip, color and functional details before the production mold is approved.
Silicone Mold Making
Mold structure, vents, gates and parting lines are planned around material flow, flash control, dimensional stability and demolding.

Molding and Vulcanization
Material preparation, molding pressure, temperature and curing conditions are controlled for consistent dimensions, color and performance.
Surface Finishing and Inspection
Parts are trimmed and cleaned, then printing, coating or assembly is completed as specified. Appearance and function are checked against the approved sample.

Packaging and Delivery Preparation
Packaging is developed around product shape, surface protection, accessories, sales channel and shipping conditions before final dispatch.
Custom toys that people actually want. One partner, one process — from design to delivery.

Silicone Materials and Manufacturing Basics
A physical sample lets the buyer verify proportions, materials, colors, construction and basic performance before bulk production. Once approved, it becomes the reference standard for production and helps reduce expensive corrections later.
Prototype development turns the artwork into a manufacturable object. The team checks structure, materials, dimensions, surface details and assembly, then revises the sample until the buyer has an approved production reference.
Check whether the supplier can explain materials, sampling, tooling, quality control and compliance clearly. Ask for relevant factory evidence, comparable projects, a written timeline and a transparent quotation before committing to production.
Quality control should cover incoming materials, in-process workmanship, appearance, dimensions, function, packaging and final quantity. The inspection plan should match the product design, target market and agreed approval sample.
Product & Production-Related Issues
Confirm carton dimensions, product protection, shipping method, customs documents, destination requirements and delivery responsibilities before production finishes. Early planning reduces dimensional-weight surprises, damage and customs delays.
CMYK values help printers reproduce packaging colors more consistently in production. Because screens use RGB, printed boxes, labels and inserts should be prepared and approved in CMYK to reduce unexpected color differences.
3D modeling helps define wall thickness, part separation, undercuts, inserts, assembly features and functional zones before mold development. Reviewing these details early reduces avoidable revisions and helps the approved design move more reliably into silicone molding and mass production.
Use RGB for digital displays and CMYK for printed packaging. If the final artwork will be printed on boxes, labels or inserts, prepare and approve the production file in CMYK and check important brand colors against a physical reference when color accuracy matters.
Silicone Toy Manufacturing FAQ Continuously updated
Reviewed July 29, 2026 by the Toyyie manufacturing team.
Packaging must protect the product while supporting retail presentation and compliance. The box, insert and master carton should be designed around the product’s shape, fragile areas, sales channel and shipping conditions.
Color can shift between screens, printed references, materials and production processes. Use physical color standards, approved samples, controlled lighting and documented tolerances so the factory and buyer evaluate color against the same reference.
The agreement should connect payments to clear milestones such as design confirmation, sample approval, tooling, production and shipment. It should also state what is included, how changes are handled and what evidence is required before each payment.
Requirements depend on the target country, intended age, materials and product features. Define the sales market and age grade early so material choices, construction, warnings and laboratory tests can be planned before mass production.
The right Shore hardness depends on intended use, part thickness, flexibility, grip, tear resistance and functional requirements. Buyers should confirm hardness with physical material or product samples because the same nominal hardness can feel different depending on geometry and wall thickness.
